Emma Kat Richardson is a Detroit native who received her Bachelors degree in Professional Writing and Women and Gender Studies from Elizabethtown College in 2008. Her journalism and feature writing has been published in Alternative Press, In The Fray, Punchline Magazine, Bookslut, and Real Detroit Weekly. She has interviewed personalities like Bill Maher, Janeane Garofalo, Margaret Cho, Rob Schneider, Kathy Griffin, and Mo'Nique. Additionally, she has served as the viral marketing manager for Punchline Magazine, editorial assistant with Real Detroit Weekly, and as a copy editor for In The Fray.

She lives in East Lansing, Michigan, but is only biding her time until escape is possible.
